Nylon evokes a 1984 song from Julien Clerc - a very French reference and not a material I would wear head-to-toe. Here I am in nylon, from Tibi (again). Tibi garments constitute a large portion of my fundamentals - that for another blog post. Nylon is practical - no drycleaning needed, no ironing, feather-weight, and easy to travel with. One drawback is nylon gets cold; don't open the fridge in the frozen food aisle at the grocery store - bad sensation ahead, you've been warned.
The shoes are the Cagole from Balenciaga - "The cagole en nylon"; It is too good to be true. These shoes can transform a dull outfit instantly, the same effect pepper can have on an overcooked hard-boiled egg. They are on sale, I bought them last year, and I will survive paying them full price because I wore them a lot and there are here to last.
The jacket is from Nili Lotan; I was looking for a summer jacket that is easy to wear while biking, after exercising, etc., a lot of wear in perspective. I like the gold button, a nice upgrade from the casual style.
Pro tip: sales season is on - everything on this post except for the jacket is on sale.
